I guess it was a failed firmware update.  Is there anyway to fix this?

Unfortunately I had my head up my butt and did this.. then realized this was not recommended until after. Please help.

Thanks.

Connect only That controller,

Select the firmware update TO ANY connected (cuz bootloader has no ID) controller.

Be absolutely sure you are sending the correct FW

I got that error too on one of my CTB16PC {older G1 V2} controllers, my controllers' problem turned out to be a LOOSE Cat5 Jack on the PCB.  And it was serving up that error, HU could find the controller, but gave the Bootloader error when it found it, showed me ID 12 and Bootloader PCV2.  Couldn't update FW or anything to correct it, before I found out the one Jack at the far end had come loose.  Removed the cat5 cable and only used the center jack that was still properly affixed.  So after the season, I'm going to have to take that controller down and re-flow the solder to that jack to reseat it.   So double-check your controllers cable jacks and be sure your cat5 jacks are not loose.   As they can cause some issues just like this too.
