creation of sequences

Reading through the manuel and the quick start guides, I get the idea that I'm supposed to create animation first then the musical part. How is that done with out hearing the music?

There are 2 different types of sequences, an animation sequence, and a musical sequence. The musical sequence requires you add the mp3 file before sequencing starts.

An "animation sequence" is just a sequence that isn't set to music (or other audio/video).
