Adding Another Prop To A Sequence

This may be a matter of terminology, but I can't seem to find instructions to add another prop to a sequence. For example, I'm working on a sequence for the roof line of my house. Now I'd like to put some arches in front of the house. Once I get that going, I'd like to add a pixel tree. I know I could start a sequence with all those items, and just sequence them as I go along. But is there a way add them one at a time?

Since you are on S5, just add each new prop to your preview.  Added props will automagically be added each sequence that use that preview.

New items will automatically be added to the "Show all items" view in Sequencer, and if you have custom view, you will need to add them to the view.
