Pixel Issues on Matrix

Before this year I have never had any issues with pixels like this before. One of my matrixes started acting funky 2 days ago. First 2 rows were out. Checked connection, swamped ports. I assumed bad pixels so I replaced the bad pixel and off I went. Next day the same 2 rows went out at a different spot as well as random pixels were lighting up and going weird colors. Power cycled Pixie16 and boom fixed. 2 minutes later a row near the top is off and 1.5 rows are off near the bottom. Went to PC "Lights Off" from sequencer and then re enabled control lights and off we go. Good for 5 minutes. Come back and more issues. This time they almost looked like they were lagging. Tonight it worked perfect during my few hours of set up

Running 8 networks, all enhanced at 500k except one network which is my regular network.  Matrix/pixels only used for 1 season

Attached are a few videos.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check all of your green terminal lug connections. If you are not using LOR pigtails always strip 1/8" of extra wire insulation from the ends to ensure you have a good metal to metal contact on the lugs.

Thanks. I will check those. And yes I’m using LOR pigtails.

I've become a fan of ferrels. You ca have a bit of the tip showing without the worry of a stray cat whisker.

I started out with an assortment kit and crimper until I figured out what sizes went fast/ I use a few big ones with the 10Ga for power leads, and smaller ones if I work direct on a string,  and lots of the ones for 18, 20 ga pigtails  (the kit ha metric sizes, so I write on the sticker which works best with AWG

Me too.  Use them on darn near everything.

Update. Way worse tonight.

Swapped controllers. No change. Changed networks. No change. Brand new network cable. No change. Show mode vs sequencer. No change. Restart PC. No change. Matrix fully on. New strand of pixels on each port and all worked fine.

So the pixels were the culprit! Not sure why. Ordered through RGB Man last year along with 6000 pixels for my mega tree. Was worried so I just ordered 6500 more pixels as a backup incase mega tree fails.
