Josh243
I have two 16 channel controllers and just got a pixie 8 controller do I need to run the pixie 8 on a different network or can I add it to the other two controllers.
LightsWithSoul
They can be ran on the same network. I have 2 16 channel controllers and a pixie controller running on the same network and it works perfectly.
k6ccc
If the AC controllers are Gen 3 (green status LED), then yes. If they are Not Gen 3, they will likely need to be on a separate network. The older controllers can not run on an Enhanced LOR network, not at 500K speed (both pretty much required for the Pixie.
LightsWithSoul
As a side note my G3 controllers that I purchased a few years ago wouldn't run on an enhanced network until I updated their firmware to the newest version. Then they worked perfectly... but this should only be done if it's absolutely necessary. Edited November 12, 2021 by LightsWithSoul
