FM Transmitter - Assistance Please

Feeling somewhat like a fool here.  I've watched several YouTube videos on how to get the music from my computer to transmit from the transmitter.  Everyone is of the same mind that it's a simple process but I'm failing at it.

Set up the transmitter, then just plug into your computer audio out port to the audio on the transmitter and presto!  I'm not getting anything (will it transmit any sound from your computer?).

I tried to run the auxiliary cable directly from the computer to the speakers but still nothing.  So, is there something I'm just not thinking of on my computer audio settings that may be the culprit?

I have this transmitter.

Firstly test the output. Is there any output from the PC. Plug headphones in and see.

Have you adjusted the Windows mixer and turned up the volume. Usually best results are at about 50 percent.

An FM Transmitter will accept any line level audio so you can test it with any source.

I've tested the output, no issues.  Tried different audio cables just in case.  I know the transmitter is transmitting because I attached a microphone to it and that worked well.

I guess I've narrowed it down to the computer and I must be missing something.

EDIT:  As I was writing this post, it started working after I verified all output was working, checked my speakers, went back to the transmitter and then I picked it up on the FM station.  I wish I knew what I did...
