jmraider Posted September 25, 2021 Share Posted September 25, 2021 Need to get some ideas for the type material people are using for framing the Singing Trees. I am mounting the Singing Faces on each of my Roof Dormer peaks, so there is plenty of support for the back of the trees to be against (see attached photo). I thought about making a frame out of Schedule 40 1" or 2" PVC pipe. I am looking for ideas of some type of material that is light weight (easy to lift up), but ridge enough to withstand wind and rain. I will more than likely mount the frame onto eye hooks on the dormers, as that what I have done in the past with other props on the dormers. Any ideas or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Old Sarge Posted September 30, 2021 Share Posted September 30, 2021 I actually made a frame out of 1X1 or 1X2 so I can alo stack mine together without pressing against he bulbs or the wireing and store them stacked in the rafters in my garage.
