Pixielink help

I have 2 Pixie 2's and the CMB24D on port 1. The Pixielink is hooked to a linksys router wired not wireless on a dedicated computer.  I cant get my pixielink to run my lights on my CMB24D control in the sequencer, the Pixie2's work fine. All status led lights are steady. If I hit the text button Pixie2 controls do the test pattern, the CMB24D does nothing. If I change Port 1:  DMX all status leds flash. Then I push the test button all status leds go solid and it does the test pattern.

What firmware on the CMB24?  1.05 is current

I don’t think a cmb24 can run at 500k.

Yes, the DC controllers can operate at up to 500K and can handle ELOR.

Confirmed.  CMB16D and CTB16D controllers work fine on 500K Enhanced LOR network.

I fail to see where is specifically states a CMB24 can.

In the general statement is says “not all controlled can run on ELOR”

My cmb24 floods are ran on a NW with only ctb16’s

Not all CTB16’s work with 500k.

As far as I know v1 will not. I have heard that v2 will with the latest update but I cannot confirm, V3 will

How / where did you confirm? The page you linked is only an overview of what LOR has to offer.

It’s not even mentioned in the UM

Then you missed it. 

And I tested a few minutes ago on my landscape lighting show.  I did not state one obvious in my test that it was Gen-3 CTB16 AC controllers (since only Gen-3 will run on ELOR).

I changed the AuxA network to 500K Enhanced, restarted LOR and ran my evening landscaping show on demand.  All the lights operated properly.  The AuxA network has three CMB16D DC controllers and two CTB16D AC controllers.

Nice to know. Learn something everyday.

The manual says LOR / DMX Protocol for the CMB and on other devices state ELOR/ LOR
