Everything has been tested and I know the box works but, when I run a scheduled musical show it runs the music only with no errors in the status log is there something I am missing?

Are you sure you created the show in the Musical tab of the Show Editor. Up until 5.3.16 it defaults to the Animation tab when you first open the editor. It is now set to open in the Musical tab.

What is the Unit ID of your controller(s)?

According to your profile, you have a Basic level LOR software license.  The Basic level license will only control Unit IDs 01 and 02.  Change the Unit ID of that controller to either 01 or 02 and adjust your profile to match.  The option option is to upgrade your software license level.

You would not be the first one to miss that one.

A lot of people understand that the lower level licenses can control a limited number of controllers, but DON'T realize that the Unit IDs do matter.

BTW, my suggestion would be just to upgrade to at least the Basic Plus level license (or higher).  Trust me on this one - you WILL need it soon enough.

Seems like a good idea but, changing the unit ID did not work it is still on "Comm 3" would that have an effect on it working?

Comm port and Unit ID have no relationship.

Comm port is the serial port number that Windows assigns to the USB to RS-485 adapter.  You CAN change that using the Windows Device Manager, but there is normally no reason to do so.

Unit ID is the Controller identifier that is set either with the Hardware Utility or switches on the controller (depending on the controller).  Unit ID is a two digit number between 01 and F0 (in Hex).

Anything I could be missing? Its only the sync feature that seems to be not working, functional wise it works perfectly

I don't understand that statement.  What do you mean "the sync function"?

Your original report was that it was not controlling lights.  But now you said "functional wise it works perfectly".

Am I missing something here?

Oh sorry basically when I test the unit it functions perfectly but, when I try to use the sequencer or try to run a show the lights don't come on but, the music plays.

I think HU will talk to any ID, regardless of License level.

HU is also where you see what ID was found when you refresh (you said 03)

The Far Left Under the COM list is where you set THE CONTROLLER (if they are not being set by switches)

💡 Once set, AVOID accepting the Use For Show  question  on any further uses of HU. you can end up chasing controller ID's (if you have more than 1) around

So i did change the ID, the test functions work but, my musical sequences don't work nor will the play in the sequence editor. The music plays when I run a show but, there is no light output.

Do you have TeamViewer installed on your computer?  If not, can you install it.   Can remote into your computer see what is going on.  Send me a PM with your phone number.

Five minutes with a TeamViewer session and his problem was solved.  Works better when the channels have channel assignment.
