RGB Strips failing over a few years

I've got RGB strips, both WS2811's and LPD6803's that are slowly failing each year. This year alone, I've had to replace probably 30 or so segments of LED's on these and yet, they are not stored outside or in a hot attic. They came from Ray Wu and other places. Does anyone have a source for intelligent RGB strips that actually last?

Mine have been in my roof 4 years. 365 each year

The recent hurricane through a tree limb at them and I had to replace a section but no other problems and it is very hot in Alabama.

I did post a video here after the repairs.
