YashasHouse
Hi all! We just started, and have now successfully bought a sequence, bought the music, built the preview, got it all to work (and are adding props to the remaining channels) so HURRAH! Our question now is, what is the easiest way to fill the minutes between shows (we only have one song so far) and then after the last show, to simply keep the lights on until later in the night? If I understand correctly, you make a new sequence and don’t link it to music, and simply sequence it to keep everything on, and add it into a “playlist” that will run from start time until you want it all to turn off? Like, do a two minute quiet twinkle or something, then add that into the playlist twenty times after the last show? We are using outdoor speakers since most people are walking, not driving, so we want the music to stop by 9 pm but the lights to stay on until midnight. Or should we loop our one show, and simply unplug the speaker and let the lights keep running as if the music is playing? I appreciate your experienced advice. Don
Running your show via the computer? You could have an animation sequence running when music is not playing. A few things to note that will help you put the show and schedule together. 1) Animation sequences can go in the Musical tab. 2) At the end of your schedule show time, a show will STOP in the middle of an Animation sequence. A musical sequence will be allowed to finish playing, then move to the shutdown tab, etc. If you want static/animation running after the show times, just have a show with animation only sequences in it, and schedule it to run right after the nightly show.
