Prop Def Invalid DMX start Chanel On Row 2

Trying to set up my GE 10' singing Tree.

Prop file was imported and I had to renumber the Universes and Nodes. Completed that, saved it in the grid.

Go back to Prop Definition and set the universes as

1- Nodes Start Chanel 1

2- Start Chanel 1001

3- Start Chanel 2001

4- Start Chanel 3001

The pop up widow says "Error in Chanel Grid" "Invalid DMX start Chanel on row 2

Anyone know what it means. Everything on my grid screen is as set.

Thank you

JR

You're doing the arrangement as a shape of Advanced with the Advanced Buffer layout.  Honest answer is why?  I have used that, but found it easier to build it in the preview as a group of lines, arches, circles, etc.  Much easier to set up the channel assignments (the Advanced arrangement is a pain to do).

Honestly and admittingly,  Easy answer, I don't know. How do I do that and get the preview to show?

Remember I'm new to S5.

Thank you

The issue is that he assign the grid numbers as his starting nodes in the controller area. He is now past that error.
