nmessick
I'm looking ahead to 2010 and thinking that I'd like to be able to switch on and off car head lights. This is way more current than the typical LED lights that guys use the DC boards for. Any way to accomplish this?
Steve Saunders
It realy depends on the amperage and how many channels that you will need. According to Dan's recent post, you can use several channels of the dc controller for the added amperage. The channels will have to be programmed to do the same exact effects at the same time. Just thought this might be worth looking into if you only needed a couple of channels, need to watch the max current for the board per side and total amp load per grouped circuit.-Steve
John
If you are just turning the lights on and off, you could use a relay to handle the large current and the controller to turn the relay on and off. You can't use shimmer or fades with the relay. Twinkle might work if the relay is fast enough.
