Importing props from visualzer

I can import props from the visualizer with no problem, but they are stacked on top of each other in the preview (pixel tree and a star). I can"t move them around and adjust them. The only way that I found, would be to recreate both props in the pixel editor. Or am I missing something? If I have to recreate the props to use in the pixel editor that pretty much sucks. Seems like it would be a waste of time and good chance to make a mistake when configuring the props to match the props created in the visualizer.

In some sequences I use Super Star for the same props and others I might want to use the pixel editor.

Am I missing something?

1) If you are using a lot of RGB pixels, then I would recommend upgrading to the latest S5 version. You will get all of the latest features and bug fixes, and the integration between the Sequencer and SuperStar is much improved. The toolbar in the sequence grid is different and takes some getting used to, but is worth the time investment.

2) Pixel props created in the Visualizer generally don't carry enough information with them to effectively apply effects in the Pixel Editor or in S5. This is especially true of pixel trees and matrices. We recommend recreating those props using the built-in PE/S5 prop shapes.

Thanks for the information. I looked at S5 and really at my age, I don't want to leave S4. This maybe my last year for doing shows anyway.

Thanks

Thanks

Vis to PE you. no transfer. I made one prop (Spider) in PE and then decided to just make what looks like a spider in the vis which I used only a couple times to get the legs sequencing down. I haven't opened up PE since. Between S4 and SS I have all I need. The vis is only a rough draft any way. But now I only use it to help others and new individual props. I am redesigning it though testing S5. So far all of my tests have worked once I started importing the vis.
