G3 Mini Director

I have a simple setup with 3 controllers. 2 Pixie16’s and 1 CTB16. My show runs fine from my PC. I used the hub to create the shops for the mini director. When the show plays from the mini director only the CTB16 controller works. I have tried connecting to the network at 2 different locations with the PC and the Mini Director. I get the same results either way.

I'll try to answer your questions with questions as I have the other two directors and not the mini.

Since it works fince from the pc the problem has to be in the mini / sd card or possibly the network.  Have you checked your network comm speed settings.

If you don't have it available here's the link to the manual which is here http://www1.lightorama.com/PDF/mDM-MP3_Man_Web.pdf  which might help as there are some other things to consider.

That's all I can offer.

Thanks for your response Dave. Mine is actually the latest version, uMP3g3. I have the pdf version and the paper version and I have read it from cover to cover several times. I don’t see anything in there about setting up the network different for the Mini Director than for the PC. It does say it works up to 500K. As with most LOR documentation it leaves a lot to be desired. The manual says to use Simple Show Builder, which doesn’t list any .loredit sequences or the Hardware utility which when I click on the LOR MP3 tab it promptly pops up a box that says you cannot use the hardware utility that you must use the HUB. When you use the HUB you have two choices, plastic box or metal box. The help file says if you are not sure click on the link to help you choose. When you click on the link it does nothing.

I created a show on the SD card using the plastic version and the metal version and they both do the same. Only the CTB16 controller works, neither of the Pixie16’s work.
