Tim
I am building a 14 foot pole with 4" white PVC pipe, which I will wrap with white and red mini lights. My question is what color should I paint the pipe to make the lights show brighter? I was thinking either black or a silver. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!Tim
Guest wbottomley
Dark colors will put a damper on your lights. Lighter colors are usually better.

DownTown
I think the lights should be the focus of your display, not the pole. Paint it black!Just my two cents worth...D.T.
Tim Fischer
If it were me I'd just leave it white PVC, perhaps first removing the markings. White will help reflect the light back toward the viewer, and not painting it makes it that much easier/cheaper! -Tim
Dr. Jones
buy the clear 4" pvc my $.02 - hi-gloss black - it will reflect the lights and dissapear into the night
matt tyndall
I agree with Tim, leave it white. Lighter colors will reflect the colors better than darker colors. Less work also!
