LOR - MAKE IT STOP

I'm officially calling this "Ground Hogs Day"

Every morning I wake up thinking LOR.

Every time I get next to a computer, I check "Planet Christmas" or tinker with a sequence.

Every time I check the mail, I'm hoping to get something I ordered for the light show.

Every time I see city/building lights, I visualize them in a sequence.

Every time I check the balance in my check book, I figure out how many LOR controllers can I buy.

Every time my wife asks what on TV tonight, my mind is thinking "a light show".

Every time I go to sleep I'm thinking what I'm going to sequence tomorrow.

Then the next morning, it starts all over again.

MAKE IT STOP !!!

Sounds like me the first year.

I think, after talking to some people, year two is the burn-out year.

The day I took the lights down. Heck, it took me 3 weeks to get everything put up. (Still haven't gotten them all to the storage unit yet, either.)

I've opened the LOR software _only_ to recall information for use in helping others. If not for that, I don't think I would have opened it at all.

Don, it sounds like you still have some symptoms being active in this chatroom every day (which I'm happy for that :]).

Do you not have any new ideas for this year's show? No new sequences?

A few ideas, yes. Haven't even considered new sequences yet. I may end up using the same songs, and simply resequence them for the additions/removals from the display.

In other news, I am starting to put out higher resolution versions of my videos from 2005. I saved the Coca Cola song in a higher resolution last night, and I must say, it looks pretty darn good. Look for those sometime in the next, oh I don't know, 3 months or so.
