PixCon 16 Setup

Not sure if this is the right board to ask this question, but is there an easy step-by-step guide that can get me through setting up two PixCon 16 controllers? I just want to use the RGB 12V system, without the hassle of DMX universes, on the LOR network. Would that be possible, or is it better to use DMX universes for the RGB? If so, where can I find a setup guide for that? The goal is 100 pixels per port on the device, and there will probably be at least 10 feet from the start of one ribbon/strand to the controller. For some, I may need null pixels because the distance could exceed 50 ft.

Since you are using S4 follow my step by step for the pixie16 configuration. In the General Hardware section stickied at the top

Actually I take that back, I do not think the pixcon is set up in HU. I think you set that up in NP (Network Preference) right side where it says set up Pixcon16

But read first because I do not have a pixcon. You can pick up my steps once you get it assigned and ready to add to SE.

{Bryce} wanted to ensure you saw my edited comment before moving on and getting stressed in my first steps. Sorry took me a sec to get my brain on track with the pixcon

Now DMX is an entire dif animal

Yes, I saw it. Thank you very much for the help. I haven't had much chance to look into it with how busy the holidays have been. I will be getting started with this in February once my display comes down for the year. I'm assuming that PixCon and Pixie have similar addressing (ID 1 for the first device and ID 11 for the second)?

Correct - after you set up your first one just glance at the last port Unit ID

The consecutive number will be your next available unit ID
