Newbie here... For the life of me I have been trying to get the text to fit onto my matrix but can not seem to find the resize text etc.  I have watched the text videos on youtube but still am at a loss here

Thank you in advance

David

What are the pixel dimensions of your matrix?

The basic steps are:

1) click on the "ABC" button to get the Text Setup dialog box to appear

2) select a font

3) type in the text

4) In the group labels "Direction of Motion" click on the "centr" button

5) click on the "Add" button

6) click on the "Play" button to play it to the screen

If it is too big or too small, select a different font size

You will probably want to use the "6-5x6 Thin - System" font, or the "6-6x6 Thin - Sytems" font

In the Direction of Motion group, click on the "Left" button

But that will scroll the text across the center of the matrix, so you will need change the Start x coordinate and Start y coordinate to move it up or down. Add 2 to both of the x coordinates and if it moves it closer to where you want, add 1 or 2 more. You can eventually get the right location.

If you need further help send an email to brian@superstarlights.com and I can arrange a time to remote into your computer.
