Jason Bailey Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Hi, I just added a CMB24D DMX to my residential controller however I cant seem to separate the channels ie channel 1 on means that Red LED is on as well as a set as lights from my original residential controller. Can anyone help my split the channels up please? Thanks Jason
Don Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Sounds like you are running these on a single network (ie, 1 USB adapter) and both have the address of 01. See page 8 of the CMB24D documentation to set the address of the CMBhttp://www1.lightorama.com/Documents/CMB24D_Man_Web.pdf

LOR ships all boards as #1 (they even include a piece of paper with that on it) On the CMB24: Turn OFF sw 9, Turn OFF sw 8 The chart is in the back of the CMB24 book. If you run 2 networks (Regular and AuxA), technically, each is allowed to have a ID of 1. BUT IMHO it is a lot simpllat for us Humans to spot a 1 appearing on the wrong network if there is only One 1 in your show
Jason Bailey Posted December 3, 2018 Author Posted December 3, 2018 Perfect! I'm now up and running thanks very much for you're help!
