saintjoe53@gmail.com
I have built my first 16 channel spiral tree using LED lights and a dedicated controller. Is it possible to make the channels for that controller faster than the others to allow the spiral tree to go at a faster rate /
Richard Hamilton
It would help to know what controller and LED lights you are talking about.
dibblejr
It’s all in the sequencing. It also depends on how you built it. If you are on S4 the vis would be your friend JR
dibblejr
Less blocks in the working grid = faster spin Play Around with it and you will see. JR

Joe Polenchar
How did you wrap the light strands on your tree? All in one direction or did you do 8 right hand twists and 8 left hand twists? This also plays in to how the tree will react.
Orville
I use a fixed timing of 0.05 blocks in the SE. If I want the lights to move faster I just program shorter amounts of blocks, the minimum amount of blocks I use is usually around 2 to 3 for really quick on/off command of lights. And that really depends on the length turned on across the blocks in that channel, that will determine just how slow or fast something will flow in a musical sequence for each channel. This can also be done in an animation sequence as well, but I like using loops in animation sequences to really speed things up as each loop runs through.
