mbyers23
I would like to give my pixel strings a "static" look with each bulb on my house outline alternating colors, Red-Green-Red-Green etc. This effect would probably not be generated by overlaying a color command onto the mesh, rather by just sending alternate colors by universe and pixel number. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks, Marcus
k6ccc
I do that regularly on one set of my eves and perimeter string. Every song is different, but within a song generally it’s static. Looks very nice. I do it in SuperStar where it’s very easy to do. As I don’t use Pixel Editor, I can’t help you there.
MattBrown
Try the "linesvertical" effect with red and green colors selected, spacing=1, speed=0 (for a prop that is horizontal). For a prop that is oriented vertically, use the same parameters with the "lineshorizontal" effect. Matt
stevehoyt
Matt What command is this in V5? I don't see a lines vertical. Just straight lines. Thanks Steve
MattBrown
S5 "straight lines" is the combination of PE's "lines vertical" and "lines horizontal". Exact same capabilities. Matt
