how do add a ccr in a figure 8?

I have 2 CCRs set up as sideways figure 8's. 
I tried to add them as wreaths but i can not specify the channels.
here is a drawing of how they are setup.

Years ago when I built my circles prop, I wanted to do the same. What you want to do is possible if you draw the prop by hand. As an alternative I found that if I built Circles that I could sequence them to give the illusion of a figure 8. I also could sequence them other ways that a figure 8 shape would not allow. Here's some pics and a gif to illustrate the figure 8 sequencing.

The screenshots of the circles are from the Beta version S5, but it will give you an idea of how I set them up.

You can add them using the bulb shape as suggested above, or lines-connected. You could also use a custom prop, but it would be harder to get effects to do what you want.
