grandlakedad Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Some background information: I upgraded my software to 4.3.18, and added the USB485-ISO Isolated Adapter. When I try to "Enable" the show I am getting an error message telling me it can't open COMM PORT 4. The adapter is on comm 8. I have no problems in the HWU or Sequence Editor. I have tried forcing a comm port change to port 4 and then it tells me it can't open COMM PORT 8 I changed back to port 8 and get the original error message again. I tried an older adapter and the same problem only this time it was COMM PORT 6 that should have been used but it was again trying to open port 4. A forced change to port 4 tries to open port 6. grandlakedad Posted November 11, 2017 Author Share Posted November 11, 2017 I figured out my own problem. I had enabled the enhanced network for my pixel controllers but did not have them plugged in.
