H3RRS
Looking into making my own extension cords, but I have zero knowledge in electrical. However, I heard it's pretty easy. Do any of you create your own extension cords, are they safe? I'm looking into SPT1 wire, vampire male and female plugs. I heard you don't need much knowledge and it's pretty simple, affordable, and a great way to get custom length extension cords! If you do this, your input is truly appreciated! Thank you! -H3RRS
LightsWithSoul
Here's a great video on making spt extension cords. All the cords in use in my display are made using this method. It is completely safe and affordable.
George Simmons
Making your own cords is a very smart way to go. The most important safety consideration is to make absolutely certain that you keep the polarity straight. No exceptions!
