Kelvin
I have installed the LOR software on the computer that I intend to use to play my shows. The computer is a pentium II running Windows 98.However when I try to start the sequence editor it comes up with a message :" Component 'wmp.dll' or one of its dependencies not correclty registered: a file is missing or invalid."I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it several time but the message still keeps appearing. The computer finds the controller and talks to it but the sequence editor doesn;t start and I don't seem to be able to start a trial show. What do I need to do to resolve the issue. Thanks
JBullard
A little bit more information may be needed to offer suggustions to fix your problem. Are you using windows 98 or 98 SEwhat version of Windows Media Player is on your computer?
Kelvin
The version of Windows is:Windows 98 Second edition 4.10.2222It is a very old version of Mindows media Player
Denny
It's probably because of the version of Windows Media Player. I can't remember the version number required at the moment (maybe 7 or later?) but this is the reason you need Windows 98SE or later. LOR uses Windows Media Player, and if you don't have one of the later versions, LOR will not work.
JBullard
Kelvin,I believe LOR needs Windows Media Player 9 or higher to function.Try upgrading WMP to ver 9 or 10 and see it that solves your problem
