Delete Timing from Channel

Recommended Posts

I played with the VU wizard to get some quick emphasis points in a sequence. I had it put them in for the entire length of the song. I played around, did a save to close, and now want to delete those timings.

Is there an easy way to flush the timing events out of a channel?

Maybe. Depends on exactly what you want to do.

If you want to delete all timings in a certain range, select the range using your keyboard or the mouse, right-click in it, and "Delete Selected Timings".

Another possible option is "Delete Extraneous Timings", from the Edit menu. This will get rid of any timings for which all of the channels are in the same state after the timing as they were before (i.e. on before and on after, twinkling before and twinkling after, off before and off after, et cetera).

Cool, so you have to highlight the entire channel(s) and the "Delete Selected Timing". That is what I was asking for.

I think after snooping around, I understand the Delete Extraneous Timing feature better. Not sure what "actual" purpose it serves, except to, as stated, clean up the display so that less timing lines are present.
