Limit of 9 when adding others in on conversation/messages (PM)

Why is there a limit of only 9 members that can be added in on a conversation in the message folder?

It would be nice to have a higher number when planning events/minis and not go public with personal info like numbers and such.

Where did "9" come from? LOL

I know some of you guys answers, "it's between 8 and 10".  

Can we please set a higher limit?

I agree esp for minis or larger. Prior to this I think the most I ever had was 3 or 4 in a PM conversation. Didn't realize there was a max.
