50 Watt Flood - Sequence Editor

I guess between being sick for the past few days and very tired, I am just doing something stupid and I cannot see what I am doing wrong.  I have a 50 watt RGB setup. When I click on Color fade, select the color and then go to turn it on in a block segment, it turns on the block. But when I select another block say, 4 segments down, it turn on all the block, all the way to the end. 

Please tell me what I am not doing correctly.

You are only clicking in that one timing box only so it will take the last command and fill in. Click and hold in the one box and drag it at least one box over and the affect will fill in.

Fade needs a time range, if you just click in a box and don't move the cursor it will fade to the nearest color.
