Torrey
Hi everyone, First, I can't believe a forum like this exists, this is great. Long story sh... long, after playing with some small simple shows over the past couple years (last year was bad because I had a broken foot) I went a little crazy at the end of last season and went nuts on controllers and pixel lights. Using incandescent and LED's I have built 4 8 channel arches, 3 mini mega trees, 1 large mega tree, and 10 small white trees. I am also finishing 120 candy canes which are wired every 3 canes on a channel so I can give that a cool walking effect around the perimeter of the yard. I have a bunch of other stuff as well from previous years shows. I have 7 LOR 16 channel controllers, and bought pixel lights for the border of the house and the controllers for them and a set of 10 LOR dummy RGB strips and their controller. I figured everything would be simple, but man I am really struggling with the programming side of things. I bought some sequences, they aren't very good, I found a couple free download sites and some of them are great but it's hit or miss. My original plan was gather a bunch of sequences and just copy and paste parts I liked into my own show, simple enough...well that was a pipe dream, lol. I have thrown in the towel on messing with any pixel stuff this year and just focus on string lights and other effects and worry about pixel next year when I have more time to learn more about all this software. Does anyone have any larger show sequences (with a visualizer file so I can see what you're doing) that you wouldn't mind sharing? Really looking for shows where the arches are a big focus point of the show. I know that's getting old, but I'm a big fan of the arches. It's getting close to time to get the lights up and I'm way way way behind on having a successful show this year. Even if you don't have sequences, any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Torrey torreybrowne@gmail.com Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
