md544600 Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Hello, there I have been using LOR controllers for a while with my Christmas lights. I previously had a different username on this forum but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. Either way that is not what I'm here for. I was wondering about using my LOR controller for a Halloween idea I've been toying around with. I am trying to figure out if there would be a way to run a very short show with the controller that would be started every time by someone passed by a motion sensor? I'm no expert with LOR controllers or the software for that matter. My Christmas light setup has always been very simple. I just used a timer for the power and let my computer do the rest. However for this application that setup wont work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
dgrant Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Send a PM to forum member k6ccc. He does this at his house for a different purpose but it works beautifully. Essentially you are connecting a sensor to one of the input PUPs that trigger a sequence.
k6ccc Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Gee, thank you for the compliment. MD544600, Yes, I should be able to help you out. I've been running interactive sequences as part of my year round landscape lighting for several years. Sent from my Droid Turbo via Tapatalk, so blame any typos or spelling errors on Android
