aaron1sabine Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Hi guys. i know some of you have very kindly shared your sequences with myself and others but i was trying to do a few songs myself and i found it to be very difficult as playing part of the song and then places the lights and the playing it back to make sure i was right. Took me hours just to do a few seconds and some songs have four faces so takes even longer. i was wondering if there is an easyier way to actually do it. thanks for your help in advance
Bill P Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 (edited) In an average show one minute of song takes about eight hours of programming if you have a larger show the longer it's going to take more to program it. That's why you see most guys start in February for programming for the next Christmas. Edited October 6, 2016 by Bill P Big fingers small buttons 1
Terpsmurf Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Are you trying to sequence to synchronize singing faces? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mpageler Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Fpr those that want to program their own singing faces/trees, Papagayo software is comonly used. I checked into it and found that it's still an involved process bit not anywhere near, programing faces from scatch. I choose to just either buy or get shared singing sequences. If interested, do a forum thread sequences on "papagayo" for more insight on using it. If you stick with more popular songs, greater chnces than singing sequenmces are already avalable and other shared sequences for the song are also available to help build the rest of your display.
Terpsmurf Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I use papagayo and find it takes about one hour per voice for a minute of one song Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was a lot more involved than I thought it would be. Maybe I just didn't give it enough of a chance.

Its not really all that hard to copy paste things you like or want to from shared things. Its also a good way to help yourself learn the process by seeing what others have done and check it a channel at a time and not just watch the big picture of it. 1
