L.O.R. 16 channel does anyone know how to connect up (dip switch) on a 30 channel dmx board please I have a cat 5 connection to the board from the lot unit but doesn't control it

OK, What is it that you are trying to do?  I don't understand what you mean by "connect up (dip switch)"  Are you trying to run your LOR board in DMX mode?  Or are you trying to have the LOR board control a DMX board?  Or something else?

A LOR board does not control a DMX board.  Both are lighting dimmer boards.  The LOR controller can be run using DMX protocol commands as opposed to LOR protocol commands.

Please be a little more specific about what you are trying to accomplish.  So far, you are being very vague and it's hard to help when we really don't know what it is that you are trying to accomplish.

I have a 16 channel Lor and I have a 30way rgb dmx board which I have connected to rgb ribbons to create a tree

Can I drive the rgb board from the Lor controller to produce various sequences ?

I'm sorry if I sound a bit thick but I am very new to any of this , so you're help would be much appreciated thanks
