on the hardware setup of CCP,  There is the setting:

Normal means one unit ID for all 320 channels.
Legacy means up to twenty sequential unit IDs
depending upon the configured logical resolution.
Dual Normal means two consecutive unit IDs. The
configured unit ID is string 1 and ID+1 is string 2.

Is there an advantage to using 2 controller ID's as opposed to just 1 id per CCP?

In the past you really had to use dual to program them bc the SE editor Would only load CCR devices. I still us dual bc I can control each string Individually where I want the starting pixel, far end of close end
