This adaptor would be used in place of the two adaptors(SC485/USB-Serial). In general the cards will not have USB on them. USB is not usable in this envrionment. USB has a very short range. Guest guest
Dan, I have the current SC485 adapter which worked fine this year and last.Is there any advantage or reason I would want to switch to the new USB->LOR adapter when it becomes available? Other than that it is not much different.
