EmmienLightFan
I found a vendor on AliBaba offering 5v WS2811 pixels for $0.5That is half Ray Wu's price http://raysflt.en.alibaba.com/product/60366933835-219253380/DC5V_100mm_festival_time_rgb_led_pixel_ball_dmx.html Minimum order is 50, just like Ray Wu. I have not calculated shipping yet. Has anyone ordered from there before? I think it is safe. AliExpress is owned by AliBaba.

Jaynee
Phil, is that $30 for a 5 meter string with 100 pixels?
Dennis Laff
Check the prices for pixels at Holiday lights Express I have bought many cases of LEDs from them never a problem. Now they have started to sell pixels and their in Michigan so shipping should be decent.
PhilMassey
Spacing is approximately 5 inches center to center. Square pixels, resin filled, Three wire JST on each end. Ray is capable of making custom spacing. In an earlier post I said how tough they are.I have really abused some of mine and not had a failure except where I physically ripped the wires out of one while removing them from last years props. (Hot Glued.)Had 500 of them on my bushes this year, no failures at all.Send Ray an Email with a request for quote with your explicit requirements.Chinese new year is in February. China is virtually closed for the month.
rainyoregonchristmas
I paid $12 per string of 50 count 12mm bullet nose from a group buy last year. That was also the SHIPPED price. That made them $0.24 each. I've seen other vendors now selling strings for the same price, but not including shipping. PhilMassey
How did they hold up in the elements.
EmmienLightFan
I regularly pay $0.20 per pixel from Ray (5v). I have not had a single failure and it rained a lot.The pixels I linked above were half the price.
EmmienLightFan
The pixels above were 0.10 to 0.50 per pixel. I will probably have to order a lot to get the price down to 0.1per pixel but that is half Ray Wu's prices
