alchrisr01
If you are like me and many others, you probably have a motion sensor flood light on your house. My problem was I had to turn it off completely during the show season or it would get triggered and fill the front yard. I found this programmable timer switch by GE from Home Depot online. It can be used on both 3-way and single switches. I set the timer for fifteen or so minutes after the latest show-over time (11:00) and it comes on to give us that little bit more of a secure feeling. http://homedepot.com/p/GE-3-Way-Sunsmart-In-Wall-Digital-Timer-15312/202788253 There are plenty of others out there but this worked for me. Hope this helps a bit. Chris
Jaynee
We just had a floodlight installed this weekend and we were lucky that the light stayed off until our Xmas display turned off, at which point it activated. Our lights are bright enough that the sensor thought it was still daytime. *lol*
Santas Helper
I mounted a motion sensor flood light assembly in my mega tree. It was on a timer and programmed to be active right after my show ends each night. This was at my old house display. Worked pretty good too. alchrisr01
I like that idea. I guess you could have a second show programmed and run the light if you have an empty channel. Sort of like bringing up the house lights in a theater after the show is over. Chris

Chris This is exactly what I do, I run a shutdown sequence inviting the viewers to come back tomorrow and explain the hours, then I turn on my landscape lighting via a channel on the LOR controller. rwthib
I replaced most of my switches with WeMo. They usually come on sunset to sunrise, but right now I have them set to come on at show end. Fun part is I also have them on my switches for my trees. Amazon Echo can control the switches so we have a group called Christmas, so my family can tells Amazon "turn on Christmas" and everything comes in which is fun.
