RGB Light Strands

Do they make RGB light strands like they do with the RGB 5m strips?

I am looking for something that is on a strand like normal Christmas lights that is 12v 4 wire.

 

I am not ready to attempt pixels just yet so I thought if they make a dumb RGB light strand that would be great.

Yes, they make 12V 4-wire "Dumb" RGB  strands with different set-ups and distances between lights.  i.e., nodes, modules, etc. 

There are many different vendors that sell them.  HolidayCoro, DIY LED Express, EBAY, etc.

I am all over wowlights.com and cannot find the dumb nodes.

I see the Christmas lights and the RGB packages but nothing seperate.

Before you buy dumb rgb lights do some research on how to use smart pixels  the controllers are more than dumb controllers but the lights are about the same price ,and chances if you want dumb lights now you will want smart later.

I was planning on using dumb nodes for my singing faces. I thought it would look good being able to change the colors during sequences.

I think smart pixels would over kill for this... but who knows

I have 4 singing faces with dumb nodes. They...I gotta say....are awesome. Smart pixels would be overkill. With the dumb nodes you can change the color to anything u want anyway. I even use them for songs that I don't have singing.
