making changes to props error System.IndexOutOfRangeException

Having a small problem with making changes to props.
I made a sequence using props that were incorrect. So when I go to make changes in the manage preview I get the attached error. My 2d pixel tree was listed as 25 nodes per string and I need to change it to 50 nodes per string. When I go to save the changes I get this error.
So I close the program and open again, the changes appear to have saved.  When I play the old sequence with the new modified props only half the tree lights up still. How do I now save this new prop definition to the older PE sequence?
 
I hade imported a saved file into PE as everything was lost when my computers hard drive died last week.

Thanks for posting! I have made some changes that will appear in the next release that should fix the cause of this error message.

Even though you got the error message, you should be able to close the sequence and re-open it, and everything should be ok.
