Can I use dielectric grease on the data connections. After only a week I have had to replace the RJ 45 connectors on my cables. Everything is dry but I don't know what else could be the problem

I just had a pixel window lock on stupid during a rain day.  I didn't even know it until that night's display had run its course.. (embarrassing).  I shut the power down that night to fix it the next day.  I assumed a pixel had gone out. Next day i turned the power back on and it was not stuck on, but rather flickering badly.  While I rounded up the bucket truck and other test and repair items, the sun started heating up just a bit.  The window straightened out and has been running ever since.

However, before I put the truck away, I put dielectric grease on all the connectors that were not "sealed".  Won't know if that keeps the water out until it rains again, but it won't hurt. I would do it if I were you.
