You need a controller. You can get a small cheap one for them. Or just buy twinkle lights. Already built in,.

Where Jerry? I want the whole string to blink. BTW this is for our van, tired of the steady on driving around town. and yes we're famous in town for it....lol

Yupp, Doug that made the light bulb in my head go off, so I went rummaging through the old lights in the attic and dug up an old incan chase controller, wired some plugs to it and viola...blinky-flashy

if its 12 VDC how about maybe adding a heavy duty turn signal blinker in the line..

Have you thought of the possibility of next year just running a small generator sitting on top of your van and a couple LOR controllers inside it to control everything... hahaha... just a thought

If ya want to save money, you can install a light switch from the power cable to the lights, then just have some one sit there and turn the switch on and off over and over again.

best way of doing this is take any child and tell them to hold the switch still. (I have kids)

12 v is 12 v put a heavy duty turn signal flasher in the power line.... before it goes to the converter... 12 volts on 12 volts off... 12 volts on... 12 volts off...

I sill like the idea or running a small generator and just connect a couple LOR controllers to control your whole van.. Harbor Freight... a small one and oits not to loud as long as you play your music a little loud... and dont run straight pipes on that big block V 8 thats in your van..
