bob
We have just released version 4.3.4 of the Light-O-Rama software suite as an open beta. This is a beta release on top of beta version 4.3.2. Important Information about Beta ReleasesPlease note that this is a beta release, not an official production release. For important information about beta releases, including what it means, who should participate, and how to participate, please see this post. How To Check If Your License Covers This VersionPlease note that your license may or may not cover this version. To check, please go to the license retrieval page, and enter your email address (the one you purchased your license with). An email should then be sent to you with information about your license. The "Summary" section of the email will tell you whether or not your license covers the latest version. If your license does not cover the latest version, you can either continue using the version that you currently use, or consider purchasing a license renewal in order to start using this new version. Or, if you would also like to upgrade the features available to you, you can purchase a license upgrade, or purchase a SuperStar license, or upgrade your SuperStar license. Any of these also counts as a license renewal, so if you do one of them, there is no reason to also purchase a license renewal. What's New in This VersionThis version is a beta release on top of the earlier beta release 4.3.2. Here is a brief list of what's new in this version, relative to 4.3.2. For details, please see the help file's What's New page.Improved "About" box in the Pixel EditorPixel Editor warnings for unsupported license levelBug fix: In SuperStar, stretching of DMX in CCR mode by specifying the pixel length of DMX pixels got broken in version 4.2.10. It is now fixed.Bug fix: In SuperStar, export of DMX in CCR mode in Half ribbon mode with controllers at the bottom would get an error saying "Channel on wrong part of ribbon, export failed."Bug fix: SuperStar's "No Clip" rectangle has been fixed to be the entire matrix instead of being the first matrix in the visualization.Bug fix: The output of intensity data by SuperStar was dimmer than it should have been.Bug fix: In some cases, the second time that a sequence was played during a run of a show, it would fail with an error message saying "ERROR WITH SEQUENCE (Invalid play state (3) for InitializeForPlay)", and the sequence would never successfully play again during that run of the show. Now, if the Show Player notices a sequence in this invalid play state, instead of giving up on trying to play the sequence, it will attempt to reset the sequence to clear out the problem so that it can be played again.Bug fix: In some cases, a seemingly random string of Chinese characters (seemingly not actual meaningful Chinese text) would appear in LOR Control Panel's Status window. At least some instances of this have been fixed.Bug fix: If tooltips were disabled in the Sequence Editor, then the waveform cursor in the Pixel Editor did not get displayed.Additionally, in case you haven't yet seen the release announcements for earlier releases in the 4.3 beta branch, you can check them out starting with the release announcement for version 4.3.2.
