oilmoney
I created my schedule today and did a test run and show 1 started fine but when moving to show 2 it seemed to freeze up. Here's my info: Software license level: 3.16, advanced, superstar feature level 40_CCR and the show is run on 3, 500k networks on my pc. I added the shows via schedule.exe. Here's what i have set up: I wanted to have a slightly static display for 1hr with the occasional fade, chase etc starting at 4pm with the main show starting at 5pm. To accomplish this I made a 30min recording of silence on audacity. I also made a 3 second recording of silence as well. For show one I used show.exe and used one of the 30 minute sequences as my opener, a 30 minute sequence as a musical sequence, and the 3 second sequence as my closer for show 1 for a total show length of 60 min 3 sec. I asked this show to start at 3:59:57. I then had show 2 set to start at 5:00. At 3:59 as expected the show started and worked flawlessly but at 4:59-5:00 nothing happened. In the message box you get when you click on the lightbulb it said waiting for show to shut down and froze on that point. I waited until 5:05, disabled all shows, re-enabled the schedule and show 2 started. Do any of you see anything obvious that I could be missing/doing wrong? Is a 30 minute sequence too long? Is a 3 second sequence too short? Should I leave extra time in between shows or schedule it to the very second? Do I need to have the closer sequence entered for the software to recognize a show or can I just have one 30 min sequence for the opener and set the other 30 min sequence as the closer with nothing in between? I'm stumped on this one, lol...

k6ccc
I schedule shows in one case to the second. I would actually make your pre-show as an animation sequence. That way, it will just end at the scheduled end time. Which sequence did it show was playing? Am I correct that the 3 second closer was in the shutdown tab? My guess is that when the second 30 minute sequence ended, there was a couple seconds left in the show, so it started the next sequence in the musical tab (which would have been the first 30 minute sequence). Since that's a musical sequence, it will play until it is finished. This would be avoided by making all three sequences a animation sequences instead of musical. The show would run until the scheduled end time and play the 3 second piece in the shutdown tab and then end. At that point the second show could start. And come on now - Bump after two hours????
