sequence length vs song length

I made a sequence with super star to a song and then transferred it to the editor. I wanted to add some more stuff to the end of the song so i increased the time length. But when ever i play the sequence it resets and starts over at the time the song ends and doesn't play the rest of what i added. is there something i am missing? First year doing this.

When it comes to musical sequences, the music length really needs to match the sequence length.

 

If you want to add more to the end of a musical sequence, you would need to edit the audio file to add time to it, then use that for the media file.

To add time use Audacity. To remove time use Audacity. Try to avoid the change total time unless you have to.
