Bizywk
Somebody please tell me that I've missed an S4 pro software update patch or that there's finally going to be an upgrade to visualizer soon so guys with lots of pixels like me don't have to try to figure out what their show looks like by watching it using multiple visualizer configurations one at a time. How do you guys with really big displays validate that you have your timings right across your whole display using such a limited tool? Are we left with putting the display up and tweaking the sequence live?
Sully
I don't have a large amount of pixels, 3 arches at 64 pixels each and my radio sign, candy canes and some stars but visualizer worked fine for it
k6ccc
Yes, you did miss something major (so did I at first too). I assume you are talking about the 1,000 fixture limit and having to make each Pixel a separate fixture. Now with Pixel strings you don't have to make each pixel it's own fixture. My display (with some planned expansion that won't happen until next year) is about 7,600 channels with almost all of that being pixels. I think I'm at about 95 fixtures and it could be less if I wanted to.
DevMike
I'd say you missed it, we've been talking about it since at least June http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/36253-omg-s4-visualizer-doesnt-insert-problem-here/http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/35406-s4-visualizer-enhanced-rendering-engine/http://www.lightorama.com/help/?whats_new.htm#4-0-
