I have seen several people reference the need for a director controller board if multiple controllers are going to be hooked together. Do all setups need a director controller? I understand that a director controller will run animated sequences in a stand alone mode, but if I have a dedicated computer or the mp3 director, is this necessary?I am wondering if I can buy eight CTB16PC's during the spring sale for my show next year or will I need to make one of them the CTB16KD to control the show? cmoore60 Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 If you always plan to run your show from one of the MP3 LOR devices OR from a PC then there is no need to have a controller with the stand alone option.With that being said!
