lleibeck
Any concerns about storing the controllers and RF units in a hot Florida attic until next year?
sparky741
Electronics, especially electrolytic capacitors, don't like too much heat. Also, a lot of temperature cycling will reak havoc on solder joints. So, my advice would be to store it somewhere other than your attic.
Denny
I stored my controllers last year in a shed (ventilated in the eaves) and had no problems this year. Temperatures in the shade were well above 110 degrees throughout the summer. Perhaps some other Arizona members can chime in, but don't recall anyone posting about heat related problems out here.
