jimswinder
I think the "Continue The Story In 3 Words" has run its course (like 6 months ago)...has it not? So lets start something new..something I would like to call "Why Is It"... and it goes like this... WHY IS IT, the probability of flipping a coin and it landing heads or tails is right around 50%...but when I go to plug in a polarized two pronged plug (only 2 choices right?) I get it wrong 90% of the time??
Mega Arch
...WHY IS IT..........when I go to plug in a polarized two pronged plug (only 2 choices right?) I get it wrong 90% of the time?? Come on Jim. Really? Everyone knows this. It's Global Warming that is at the root cause. With the neutral side being heavier, as the earth warms you feel weaker. Thus it spins downward in your hand. Santas Helper
Well since Bobo started a fake thread and rose it from the dead, you get to see the topic even more. So you can thank him for that. Besides, threads with more than three words is just another thread.
k6ccc
OK, I'll bite. Why is it that with a 50% chance of getting it right, when you plug in USB cable, it will be wrong and not go in most of the time?
Max-Paul
Raised it from the dead. And the reason that 90% of the time a 50/50 chance is cause you have offended the electron GOD and he is getting his revenge. Alright Father, I'll tell them. Ifn you listen to me I will tell you the secret to getting it right 90% of the time. Pray to our Father and his son.

Don
Why is it that people in this town can't do the actual speed limit? It's not quite what you think. 'Road 1' is a six lane divided roadway with turn lanes. The posted speed limit is 50 miles per hour. However, good luck ever reaching that speed. It's not because it's crowed. Yes, it is busy, but it's very possible to do 50 miles per hour. Besides, if people would actually do the speed limit you'll make all of the lights on a very long stretch of road. I've been able to do it every one of the few times I've gotten up to 50. 'Road 2' is another six lane divided roadway with turn lanes. Posted speed limit is 40. Again, good luck getting up that fast. Now, let's turn our attention to the side roads in this area. The posted speed limit is 35 miles and hour. 3 or 4 of the roads I'm speaking of are between Road 1 and Road 2. So, how fast do you think people go? If you said below 35 you'd be wrong. People easily get up to 45-50 on these roads. I don't get it. Wide open space and they go as slow as possible. Get closer to the residential zones and it's time to speed up. *sigh*
Santas Helper
That's why I'm happy I live 2 1/2 miles from work. Just back roads. So I can do 50-60 mph on 40-45 posted speed limit. I'm not a rush hour driver that's for sure. I don't have the patience for the slow pokes.
