What is your setlist for your show this year?

Its almost that time of year and I'm just wondering what songs and sequences are you guys using this year. I'm really interested in knowing the songs you are putting on your show for this year. I'm trying to figure out from suggestions what's hot and what's not and what everyone is doing. Looking forward to your input.

I wouldn't focus on what others are doing. It should be what you want and what you like.

There are some songs that may be hot to others but no way would I want them in my show.

I'm new to LOR this year and only have 16 channels.  Over the past few months I've downloaded and adjusted sequences for several things, and can't decide - it keeps changing.  Especially when I end up sequencing something on my own (as I did this weekend).  We're only doing a 10-15 minute program, but I have 10 songs and clips to choose from.

I do know I'm DEFINITELY going to have the song I discovered on these boards last week - "Do You Hear" by Stirling.  I had never heard that mashup before and LOVED IT, so I bought the song and spent the entire weekend figuring out a sequence to work with my setup.  I will also be including my own "Take It Russ" sequence from Christmas Vacation that was inspired by JStorms' sequence from a couple years ago (his is way better than mine, but it's too funny not to do).  Other than those two, it could be anything.  But those are the two must-haves for me this year.

See I would've never thought about Stirling. Great info. I'm trying to remember the Take It Russ scene....

I'm trying to remember the Take It Russ scene....

Its the opening scene when they are driving to get a Christmas tree.  Clark and Ellen are singing 'Deck the Halls' and when they get to the second verse Clark sings 'Take it Russ...'.  He of course doesn't while Clark and Ellen continue with the chorus 'Fa-la-la-la-la---la-la-la-la'.  Is it sad I know that?

Thinking of doing "Let It Flow" this year in honor of the new Star Wars movie. I had done Do You Want To Build a Snowman by Stellar Kart last year.

My best advice would be to add what songs you like and won't annoy you.

James,

I wonder just how many songs you could do if you actually liked sequencing.

Pretty impressive list for sure.

I must be doing something wrong!!! It takes me up to 100 hrs (maybe more) to sequence a single 3 min and 30 second song. Am I too fussy in hitting the beat. Do the viewers actually seeing the precision? Do they care if you hit every beat. I see some of the lists and am impressed if they take as long as I take to sequence.

Kevin,

it takes many hours to build a sequence. The more channels, the longer it takes too.

Maybe not everyone, but timing to the beat sticks out like a sore thumb if it's off. I believe majority folks look for precision but maybe doesn't focus much on it like I do.

I spend extra time to make sure every beat is right on the money.
