cenote
Was wondering if anybody has set up the LOR DC boards yet with use of L.E.D.'s with it's own transformer. Starting to see threads on PC and other places, but nobody seems to know alot about feasabilty yet. From what I am reading, seems like it would be cheaper setting up these boards for use of things like mega trees and arches where there is only a string or two on per channel.Just seems like alot of money spent on the ratio of boards per lights on these types of projects. Having problems in my head spending on a 100 channels next year to run only a 100 strings of lights on one tree Thoughts on this?Chuck N
Donald Puryear
not yet, but I used the dc card to drive ssr to work some of my features this year. (off,on,shimmer, twinkle) I though about using the new I/O card in a similar fashion. I used DIO boards like this before, helps keep the cost down. Some of my decorations are off or on only so I don't misss the dimm feature.
